We used The Jefferson on Saturday, 2/10, to host a birthday party for our two daughters. Coming from large families, we have quickly outgrown most of our homes and need a separate location in order to have everyone together. The Jefferson was perfect for our party! From start to finish, Kelli was so helpful. Booking was very simple, and we were very impressed when they set up the amount of seats we needed for our guests, as well as put linens on the tables. The “Happy Birthday” sign was the cutest personal touch that really made our experience top notch. Kelli met us at the venue at the start of our rental time to ensure we made it in ok, and had everything we needed. She came back at the end of our rental time to make sure that we didn’t forget anything as well as helped with the clean up that needed done.
The Jefferson is spacious enough for larger gatherings, but not so large that a smaller gathering (we had 40 people) felt lost in the space. The lounge area in the front of the space is a great touch that allows for more intimate conversation and a quiet away from the rest of the gathering. As long time Hastings residents, we are SO happy to see such a beautiful place being put to use in a way that celebrates its character. We would recommend The Jefferson to anyone looking for a venue in the downtown area!
